"I will do better unto you than at your beginnings." That line stopped me. I have been in a season of watching God rebuild something I thought was finished, and that promise is the one I keep coming back to. He does not just restore to what was. He restores to something better. That is not a small thing to hold onto. Praying for your son's appointments in July. ๐Ÿค

Yes, isnโ€™t that a sweet promise?! God doesnโ€™t just rebuild to match what was, he makes things new and better! ๐Ÿ’ž

I appreciate your prayers for my son. Thank you!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

That quote from Samuel Rutherford....wow. May the Lord make me to be faithful and leave the outcomes to Him!

Yes! Often easier said than done, but there is so much peace when we do!

I have so many - learning to ride a bike, riding my bike weekly to the library to load up, going to Bible camp in northern Wisconsin - Camp Chetek - where I made lifelong friends who also loved the Lord and still do, a family camping trip out west...

It sounds like you have some wonderful childhood memories, June! Some of my happiest memories also include camps and camping! โ›บ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š

My happiest summer memory from childhood was reading!

What were some of your favorite books to read as a child, Luba?

Luba's avatar

Bible stories and Trailblazer books. Did you have favorite books as a child, Cara?

My dad bought me the entire Anne of Green Gables series for my eighth or ninth birthday and I read through those books several times! Iโ€™ve been wanting to pick them up again as itโ€™s been many years since I last read them โค๏ธ
